1. Where is your facility?
Our comprehensive facility is minutes from the Dallas Fort Worth airport. We maintain adequate check sorters, printers, computers and storage, workstations and check processing equipment for you to use in the event of a disaster. We also maintain sufficient internet and communications bandwidth to support electronic presentment and receipt, as well as branch capture, during a disaster declaration.

2. How long have you been in business?
Hogan Financial was founded in 1998. Our goal has always been to have a stable, profitable buiness and run it in a conservative, prudent way. We've grown, but today we remain a debt-averse, self-funding business.

4. What about getting help from our vendor?
We work closely with your vendor to ensure a successful test of your contingency plan-we don't just introduce you to the facility and leave you on your own! We may already have a partnership with your vendor, which means we may have already attended training on your software!

5. Is you facility used for anything other than disaster recovery?
Hogan Financial maintains a production environment for our hosted services, but disaster recovery, including all systems and network, are kept completely disconnected and separate from production. No resource sharing exists.

6. How do we test?
By having you bring your backup media to our facility with your checks. We install your programs and data onto our systems, then assist you with the operation of your system. Once you’ve captured and balanced, we’ll help you to transmit the balanced, reformatted work to your core system. We won’t consider it a successful test until the transactions have been sent to your core system and successfully posted. Only then will we certify the test.

7. What about my connections to Fed and electronic presentment?
Hogan Financial maintains a functional system supporting FEDRECEIPT and FEDRECEIPT PLUS. This includes our own routing and transit number (7119-6024-8) which is registered with the Federal Reserve. You can either bring your Fed credentials with your during testing, or you can call the Fed and re-route your work to our ABA number.
For outbound connections, including electronic presentment, we maintain systems and adequate bandwidth to support these functions. Be sure to bring any credentials needed with you to the test.

12. Where will I send my cash letter?
We can drive it to the Dallas Fed, which is just twenty minutes away. However, most banks are now transmitting their letter electronically to the endpoint of their choice. We support this provided that you bring the proper systems credentials with you to the test.
