Hosted Core Processing
Traditionally your choices for a venue in core processing have been twofold: in-house or outsourced, each with its own advantages and drawbacks. Your choice became an exercise of weighing the lesser of two evils---if you chose in-house, then you traded additional operational and regulatory challenges for a lower cost. If you chose outsourced, then you faced historically higher costs and a reduction in flexibility, yet sidestepped the in-house headaches.
Host Core Processing creates an environment that allows you to enjoy both the benefits of in-house but without the day-to-day headaches. By outsourcing the management of your in-house system to a professional hosting and operational environment at Hogan Financial, you're left with the benefits of in-house sans the associated burdens.
The Core system that you purchase is housed in our secure, audited, power-redundant, climate-controlled, and federally regulated environment. Your relationship with your core vendor does not change; what's different is that we assume responsibility for day-to-day operations and maintenance. This can include nightly operations, backups, restorations, patch application, report generation, daily ACH receipt, management of internet and ATM interfaces and the like. It's your choice.

Hosted Item Processing
We offer production check processing services using the Open Solutions ISCHECK™ system. With full support for image statements, email statements, Image cash letters, remote deposit capture and electronic returns, our clients enjoy unparalleled support whether we're doing the keying/balancing, or whether you choose to scan and balance your items. In every case, we offer 7 years of online access to images and provide full availability of statements and images to the internet banking provider of your choice.
Hogan Financial clients deploy a variety of scanning devices behind the teller line and at strategic locations throughout the bank for image scanning into the Hogan data center. Each day, we receive in clearings and send outbound electronic letters for our clients and either key and balance the items or assist client staff with their balancing efforts. In either mode, our mission remains the same—no support tickets, little or no waiting—we are here to serve, and to do so in an extraordinary way.

Disaster Recovery
Recovery services for select core systems and exclusively for Open Solutions ISCHECK™ clients is the foundation of our business at Hogan Financial from inception in 1998. Through our business relationship, and commercialized partner status with Open Solutions, we are THE recommended provider for disaster recovery for the ISCHECK™ system. Whether you have two branches or two hundred, we can be part of your business continuity planning.
At Hogan Financial, we have dedicated servers, networks, multiple facilities and trained staff to accommodate your disaster recovery needs, whether you are testing or declaring a disaster. We understand that an item processing disaster recovery can include image cash letters, both in-bound and outbound. We maintain our own routing-transit number and an affiliation with the Federal Reserve so that we can facilitate presentment of your letters and receipt of your in clearings.
If your disaster involves only loss of your primary location, we can support capture of your items into our recovery center from your branches that remain operational. This can be a very efficient alternative to a traditional disaster recovery model when combined with Hogan Financial expertise and systems. Regardless, our facility remains at your disposal should the need arise.
In this environment of enhanced regulatory scrutiny, you should know that Hogan Financial is a hardened facility, audited each year and scanned quarterly for any security vulnerabilities. We also undergo regular and complete scrutiny by the same examining bodies that you do as a bank.
We can accommodate your disaster recovery situation without your deployment of staff to our facility. This can be critical during a disaster declaration, as access to your staff may be limited.
Finally, disaster recovery is not an "afterthought" or "side business" at Hogan Financial—disasters happen—we have experienced multiple declarations, including multiple disasters related to Hurricane Katrina and Rita. We were there for our clients and will be there for you should the need arise.

Real-Time ATM Authorization
If you're still using batch interfaces and positive balance files, then your customers know that you're not real-time, and that the ATM or point-of-sale balance they see is often not the same as the balance on your core system. This discrepancy is especially evident to your internet banking clients.
If you've approached your core vendor, or your switch provider, and been confronted with costly middleware software proposals to solve this problem, call us. We are able to deliver a real-time environment through our atm authorization service. By delivering the middleware function as a service from our facility, we're able to save you initial deployment expense and headaches, and to help you avoid the unwanted expense of a customized data circuit to your switch provider.

Whether you have old history data, or check images to convert, call us. We have years of experience converting COFF files, X9.37 files and other image formats from one form to another.
